In order to ensure the normal operation of the Slitting Machine, improve production efficiency, and extend the service life of the equipment, daily operation and maintenance are essential. The following is a detailed operation and maintenance guide:

1. Daily operation process
1. Check before starting the machine
▲ Power supply check: Make sure the power supply connection is normal, the voltage is stable, and there is no looseness or short circuit.
▲ Blade check: Check whether the slitting knife is sharp and firmly installed.
▲ Material check: Confirm that the specifications of the material to be slit meet the equipment requirements and there is no wrinkle or damage.
▲ Tension system check: Adjust the unwinding and rewinding tension to avoid material deviation or uneven tightness.
▲ Transmission system check: Whether the belt, chain, and bearing are normal and whether the lubrication is sufficient.

2. Operation steps
▲ Turn on the power and check whether the touch screen or button panel is operating normally.
▲ Load the mother roll, adjust the unwinding shaft, and fix the material.
▲ Set the slitting width and adjust the blade position to ensure the accuracy of the slitting size.
▲ Adjust the tension and set the appropriate tension parameters according to the material thickness.
▲ Start the trial run and observe whether there are problems such as deviation, uneven tension or poor slitting.
▲ Operation normally, confirm that all parameters are normal, and start formal production, and check the slitting quality regularly.
▲ After completion, rewind the machine, ensure that the rewinding is neat and well marked.

3. Shutdown steps
▲ Gradually reduce the speed to ensure that the equipment stops smoothly.
▲ Turn off the power to ensure that the equipment is powered off.
▲ Clean the machine and remove the residual material on the blade and transmission parts.
▲ Check the equipment condition, record the operation status, and deal with any abnormalities in time.

2. Daily maintenance
1. Daily maintenance (per shift)
▲ Clean the equipment: clean the debris and dust on the blade, guide roller, and rewinding shaft.
▲ Check the blade: Check whether the blade is worn. If it is not sharp, it needs to be replaced.
▲ Check the tension system: ensure stable tension to avoid uneven material tightness.
▲ Electrical inspection: Check whether the touch screen, buttons, and circuits are normal.
2. Weekly maintenance
▲ Lubrication maintenance: Add lubricating oil to bearings, gears, guide rails and other components to prevent wear.
▲ Check the belt and chain: whether there is looseness or cracks, adjust or replace if necessary.
▲ Adjust the blade: Recalibrate the position and pressure of the slitting blade.
▲ Check the safety system: ensure that the emergency stop button, guard and other safety devices are effective.
3. Monthly maintenance
▲ Deep cleaning: thoroughly clean the dust inside the equipment and check whether there are foreign objects stuck.
▲ Motor and transmission system inspection: observe whether the motor is overheated or vibrates abnormally, and check whether the reducer is short of oil.
▲ Sensor and control system inspection: test whether the photoelectric sensor and tension controller are accurate.
▲ Replace wearing parts: if the blade, seal, belt and other parts are found to be severely worn, replace them in time.
4. Annual maintenance
▲ Comprehensive inspection: overhaul and maintain all mechanical and electrical systems.
▲ Replace lubricating oil: check the lubricating parts such as gearbox and bearing, and replace the lubricating oil if necessary.
▲ Software and system update: if the equipment has PLC or automatic control system, check and update the program.

III. Safety precautions
⚠ Confirm safety before operation, and do not adjust the blade or tension when the machine is running.
⚠ Wear protective equipment such as gloves and goggles to prevent blade damage.
⚠ Ensure that the emergency stop button is available and teach the operator how to deal with the emergency.
⚠ Do not overload the machine to avoid equipment damage or affect the slitting quality.
⚠ Regularly train operators to improve operating skills and reduce the risk of misoperation.

Through the above daily operation and maintenance measures, the efficient and stable operation of the slitting machine can be maximized, equipment failures and downtime can be reduced, and production efficiency and product quality can be improved.
